JSW MG Motor India has achieved its best-ever monthly wholesale performance, dispatching 7,568 vehicles in June 2026. The company registered a 30 percent year-on-year growth, driven primarily by the strong demand for its expanding electric vehicle lineup.
One of the biggest highlights from the sales report is that electric vehicles accounted for more than 75 percent of the company's total wholesale volumes, underlining MG's growing dominance in India's EV market.
The automaker dispatched 7,568 units in June 2026, making it the highest monthly wholesale figure in the company's history.
Compared to June last year, sales increased by nearly 30 percent, while the company also posted a significant improvement over May 2026, reflecting strong market demand across its portfolio.
Electric vehicles remained the biggest contributor to MG's sales performance during June.
According to the company, over three-fourths of all vehicles dispatched during the month were electric models, highlighting the rapid shift towards EV adoption among Indian buyers.
The success has been driven by MG's growing electric portfolio, led by models like the MG Windsor EV, along with increasing customer preference for lower running costs and cleaner mobility solutions.
While EVs dominated the sales mix, MG stated that its internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles also witnessed healthy demand.
The company has recently begun customer deliveries of the MG Majestor SUV, which is expected to further strengthen its SUV lineup in the coming months.
JSW MG Motor has consistently expanded its presence in India's electric vehicle segment over the past year.
The company's strategy has focused on:
Expanding its EV portfolio
Improving customer accessibility
Strengthening dealership networks
Offering value-driven electric vehicles
Investing in connected vehicle technologies
These efforts have helped MG emerge as one of the fastest-growing EV manufacturers in the country.
The record-breaking June sales reflect growing consumer confidence in MG's product lineup and India's rapidly expanding EV ecosystem.
With electric vehicles now contributing over 75 percent of its monthly sales and new products like the Majestor entering the market, JSW MG Motor appears well-positioned to continue its growth momentum through the second half of 2026.
As competition in India's EV segment intensifies, MG's strong June performance demonstrates that demand for electric mobility continues to accelerate across the country.
