Marking a historic milestone for Indian automotive engineering, Mahindra & Mahindra has officially launched its first two premium born-electric SUVs: the sport-coupe BE 6e and the luxury flagship XEV 9e. Built on the brand's revolutionary INGLO platform, both models bring global premium tech to Indian roads.
Mahindra shocked the segment with highly aggressive pricing. The sporty BE 6e starts at Rs 18.9 Lakh (ex-showroom), while the flagship XEV 9e starts at Rs 21.9 Lakh, making them exceptionally competitive against existing petrol and diesel luxury crossovers.
Inside the cabin, the XEV 9e introduces an incredible triple-screen glass dashboard. The setup stretches seamlessly from the driver to the passenger side, housing a digital cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a dedicated entertainment screen for the co-driver. Level 2+ ADAS powered by high-end cameras and radar units completes the high-tech package.
"Our INGLO architecture allows us to deliver world-class safety, extreme high-voltage fast charging, and instantaneous acceleration. This is a new chapter in premium driving."
Both models come equipped with 6 airbags as standard, electronic stability control, and structural reinforcements built to easily secure a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash testing. We will be bringing you a detailed dynamic test review very soon!
